Over the past 18 months, our lives have been turned upside down, but we’ve also had time to rethink the way we live and reassess what’s really important. This year, our discussion went digital and we talked about colour trends, including:
- The expanding role of the home
- How nature is essential to our lives
- How the arts can bring us comfort and inspiration
- How important it is to embrace new voices and ideas for a brighter future
It’s these discussions that led to our key themes, open skies and a breath of fresh air. And from here, we were able to choose the Coral & Dulux Colour of the Year 2022.
Bright Skies™ is a light, airy and optimistic blue that’s good for the soul. It promises to open up and revitalise your home. Around it, we’ve created four easy-to-use colour palettes, so you can refresh your spaces with different colour combinations. Here are four ideas for you to try in your home:
1. Combine Coral & Dulux Colour of the Year 2022 with Workshop colours to create a vibrant space that works for living, working, relaxing and more
When a living area needs to switch in an instant from home to office to classroom, we need a flexible do-it-all space. Used with Bright Skies™, the multicoloured Workshop palette with its combination of light, uplifting tones, can help you create an inspirational backdrop for any activity.
