In today’s busy and complex world, it’s more important than ever to carve out our own special place; somewhere we feel we belong. This was the feeling that came out of our Trend Forecast brainstorm, when internationally renowned design experts shared their thoughts on what we’ll be needing from our homes in the next few years.
Our conversations led us to a theme for Coral & Dulux Colour of the Year 2024: ‘A place where you belong’ and to the shade itself, Sweet Embrace™. Around this soft and positive tone, we’ve created three easy-to-use colour palettes: a warm colour story, a calm colour story and an uplifting colour story. Each of them offers a different way to create a space where you feel completely at home.
Start with a positive foundation
Sweet Embrace™ is a delicate and optimistic colour, inspired by the softness of feathers and evening clouds. As well as being a warm and practical standalone shade, it’s also a great foundation colour that’s ideal for combining with many other shades. Subtle and sophisticated, it takes on different tones in different lights, bringing warmth to north-facing spaces and softness to sunlit rooms.
